Sharing a new memoir of addiction and recovery that is a must-read for everyone recovering from addictions or NOT. I am enjoying reading this exceptional, fun, and unique life story and journey the author, Leonard Buschel has shared within the pages of his biography. But a cautionary tale to say the least!
We have all read the headlines about children in poverty, seriously neglected, physically and verbally abused, and traumatized. This is just a smidge of what Wilsdaryon has written and shared within the pages of his new book. And if that was not enough of what he experienced from birth until seven?
He and his siblings were finally taken away by Child Protective Services in Temple, TX, and put into the foster care system that we all know is BROKEN. As he is BROKEN and traumatized all over again. So how does a child overcome such pain and all these atrocities? If you read his new book, you’ll learn HOW… It is his story, voice, and haunting memoirs of overcoming and healing.
It truly is a must-read for everyone.
About The Book
“Out of the deep, murky waters of neglect and abuse, Wilsdaryon Prescher used the power of music to find strength and heal and overcame the odds stacked firmly against him. His book, This is Me Trying, tells the story of a boy who has blossomed into the man he knew he could be, despite the darkness that engulfed him throughout his childhood and adolescence.
Through the power of music, Wilsdaryon discoveredhimself after losing touch with who he really was. With this newfound soundtrack of life, Wilsdaryon was able to rise from the darkness and turn experiences that were once chaotic and traumatic into something pulchritudinous. Just like a lotus flower that rises from the murky waters at the bottom of the pond, Wilsdaryon too has blossomed by overcoming various forms of abuse, coping mechanisms, and stigmas.“

About The Author: ‘Wil’ Prescher, a new emerging author of his first book titled “This Is Is Me Trying: Navigating Through A Lifetime of Trauma,” is available on Amazon in both paperback and e-book versions featured on fine literary book sites.
Born in Temple, Texas, and at seven years old, he’d been placed into the foster care system due to trauma and abuse; sadly, he spent the next few years bouncing from foster home to foster home. At the age of twelve, Wil went to a foster home in Walnut Springs, Texas, with loving people who would eventually become his adoptive family.
As Wil grew older, he developed a yearning to help individuals who have been in similar situations. He understood how navigating the foster system could be very challenging and that many were not as fortunate as he had been. Wil has spent the last four years studying mental health and substance abuse issues while working with at-risk youth in multiple organizations.
During this time, he realized the effects of music therapy on a person’s soul and emotional well-being; he is continuing his education to fulfill his dream of becoming a therapist. He hopes to share his experiences with others to show that something good can come out of an unfortunate situation out of his control.
Wil and Family
When he is not working or studying, Wil enjoys spending time with his family who has adopted him. He also enjoys hiking and the outdoors. You can always find him jamming to the music of “Pink” with his two cats, and he still resides in the Houston, Texas area.
When I first dreamed up the idea of writing a book, I knew I wanted it to be unique and special, as every writer does. I wanted to be able to capture the minds of the readers. I knew some portions of the book would be tough for some to read, especially those who knew me on a personal level. But also, I wanted to give them a peek into my world for the last twenty-something years. I wanted to be able to connect them to my story not just with words but through music, too.
Over the course of my career working with at-risk youth I haverealized the effects that music therapy has on a person’s soul. From this idea, I knew I must incorporate music into my book somehow. I wanted to make a great soundtrack for my book just like how great movies have powerful soundtracks, that’s what I wanted. Every chapter is based on a song that holds a special meaning to me.
The events of the first sections of the book are from what I remember, as well as case notes from my CPS case managers, therapist, police reports, and foster parents. Most of the names have been omitted to ensure anonymity. This book isn’t intended to destroy anyone’s reputation or lives. I wanted to share the events of my life how I remember them.
It seems Diane Olsen has now a four part series on her hands of all the research and information shared with her about Bigfoot Culture and Sightings by family and friends. Part two is just as amazing to read as part one!
Mateo shares another exciting interaction with them and much more in Part Two! Courtesy of All B One Blog of my friend, Diane Olsen… CAT
My fantastic author and friend I work for have decided to share a three-part series from her decades of research and debunking the myth that Bigfoot really roams the forests of several states. Especially Oregon, Washington, and California. His Rising Wind Book Series shares some about the elusive Bigfoot, and some of her family have had encounters and shared them with her.
Now she is sharing them with our readers and hers!
ENJOY!

Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born and grew up in Surrey, B.C. Canada served in the military as a Morse code operator, paratrooper, and UN peacekeeper (former Yugoslavia 1993). I hold a Bachelor of Human Ecology (Nutrition) and competed in kickboxing in Canada and Hong Kong, and at the age of 40, I won a welterweight championship.
I have worked as a crime reporter and have written over 100 articles and six books, including Reduce Your Alcohol Craving, One Less Victim: a crime prevention manual, Train Her Confident: Women’s Kickboxing, Stomach Flattening, and Selo (award winning fiction novel).
What is the name of your best book, and what inspired it?
Simple Secrets to Handle Your Alcohol Better: Student’s Edition. I was inspired to publish my research about drinking in college so that people can enjoy their alcohol without addiction or the side effects. During the writing of my next book, “Reduce Your Alcohol Craving,” my own sister died of alcohol poisoning. At this point, I pushed my doubt as a writer aside and just kept writing.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I set up a schedule to write at least a page at a time and then pay myself a dollar an hour or a dollar a page. On the weekends, I spend the money on something fun, like a movie, a trip up Grouse Mountain, or an exotic meal. I guess that may be unusual to other writers. Lol.
What authors or books have influenced you?
Authors who have influenced me have been Andrew H. Vachss, Louis L’Amour, David Liss, and Stephen King. The most influential books: are Strega by Andrew Vachss, Breaking Writer’s Block Now! by Jerry Mundis, On Writing by Stephen King, and Will by G. Gordon Liddy.
What are you working on now?
Fitness/Body Shaping book for women based on the 1920s to 1970s actresses and models. It seems to be the return of the hourglass shape/figures which were so popular in the Miss America and Playboy models in the early 20th century. Many body shapes, sizes, and types have become more accepted in our society for women, which is a good thing. A person’s weight or pounds shouldn’t matter if men and women look and feel good and are in good health.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Public speaking and word of mouth have been successful methods. Otherwise, articles linking to my website are also effective, and I have the current help of a great marketing woman, Catherine Lyon of ‘Lyon Literary Services’ who has been a success with increasing sales, reviews, and book exposure.
Do you have any advice for new authors? 1. Write what people are interested in and do your research. 2. Write like you are working, exercising, or studying. Put aside the time, but do not overdo it.
What is the best advice you have ever heard? Keep training and working towards something. You are going to get old anyway. LOL!

What’s next for you as a writer? How-to videos I’m now looking into making for the fitness/wellness side and working on that new book I mentioned above.
